Colored Pencil Workshop in Springfield, Oregon

I attended a Colored Pencil Workshop in Springfield, Oregon this last July. It was a wonderful & relaxing three days of learning. Kristy Kutch is an excellent teacher, and I really love the flowers she does. I learned quite a few new techniques & got to experiment with many different brands colored pencils and papers. I learned how to use watercolor pencils - so much easier than regular watercolors, and I plan on trying these again in the near future.

Oregon is so beautiful. Paul enjoyed his three days of exploring Springfield and Eugene by bicycle. One evening we even found a patch of wild blackberries while walking to dinner.

Our last day was spent touring the wineries in Eugene. Yum. My favorite was Sarver Winery. They had a Pinot Grigio that was amazing. so refreshing for that hot summer evening.
